Welcome to the AbleSailNetwork! We’re a group of accessible sailng clubs spread across Canada. Together, through this network, we share three common goals: 1 ACCESSIBLE Our boats, equipment, staff and programs are accessible to everyone regardless of your ability or experience. If you have the will, we have the way; we guarantee that you can get on the water and learn to sail. 2 AFFORDABLE With the support of thousands of volunteer hours and our financial sponsors, sailors pay only $10 to $15 per sail! 3 ACTIVE You can sail for the sheer joy of it, improve your knowledge and skills, or even learn to race. Last summer, we went sailing 8,200 times in programs all across Canada!

 

The AbleSailNetwork (ASN) is a cooperative association of accessible sailing programs across Canada. AbleSailNetwork provides a forum for operators to identify, discuss and address common operating issues and challenges. Members of AbleSailNetwork are committed to promoting and developing the sport/recreation of sailing, by making it accessible to all Canadians with a disability.

At this point we're just getting started and there's a lot of work to do. But I am excited. We've designed and built AbleSailNetwork.ca to help us share and collaborate with each other, by hosting our projects and forums and providing a permanent archive of documents and resources for accessible sailing programs, wherever they may be.
